Yup, I think we're the same as the US, third Sunday in June. When I asked what he *wanted* for Father's Day, he said new tyres. But that's only because we were standing at the Air-thingie at the petrol station, AGAIN, blowing up the back tyre which hardly looks road-worthy to me, and having a, erm, discussion about car maintenance, tyres included.

So I think what he really wanted for Father's Day was for me to shut up, even if that would cost him a pair of new tyres.

That would be giving in too easy. Television. Ha ha.

Usually I never get things like Colonel Popcorn until it's way to late...but this time I got it the minute you wrote it. Congrats on the new TV. I have a whole other blog dedicated to the TV shows that I watch LOL. My TV is constantly on. Very Nice!! Speaking of TVs, My GF's sister and her hubby gave us their 52 inch about two days ago..They said it was taking up to much space and that they wasn't using it..They first wanted to sell it for $200-no takers and then said they couldn't give it away.. Go figure! Well, they should have came to us in the first place..They would have had plenty of room a long time ago.. :>)

Fun post, Susan, as always! We each have a TV, but we cancelled all TV service nearly a year ago. I burned myself out with movies, cancelled Netflix and I'm still amazed that I don't miss any of it. But if I do, I can always rent one. Amazing what one discovers as time goes flippin' by!
